At Lighthouse, expert teachers provide children with the very best opportunities to develop individual strengths through a curriculum focussing on literacy, numeracy and positive social development from a Christian perspective.

In small sized classes, evidence based teaching programs are used to ensure children are making appropriate progress in their learning.

Lighthouse offers a Christ-centred education with Biblical foundations woven through the curriculum. A love for God is nurtured through weekly Bible lessons, praise and worship and Chapel services.

The partnership between home and school is paramount throughout a child’s learning journey. At Lighthouse, we see this relationship as a high priority in setting up students for a successful journey through to Year 12 and beyond. This partnership begins in the term before commencement through our Prep4Prep Program.

 The school’s Buddy Program sees Preps partnered with older students. This helps Lighthouse Preps to have an increased sense of belonging and community.

Specialist teachers provide weekly Health and Physical Education (HPE) lessons that includes a Learn to Swim program, Athletics and Swimming Carnivals and a Fun Run.  Each day in Prep begins with a motor development program that enhances health and wellness.
